greenteg introduced its Core Body Temperature monitoring solution for early detection of patient deterioration at MEDICA 2019 in Düsseldorf!

About greenteg at MEDICA Fair 2019

greenteg, the award-winning Swiss thermal sensing company, will be exhibiting at MEDICA 2019. From November 18 to 21, more than 5’000 exhibitors and 120’000 visitors will gather in Düsseldorf for the world’s largest medical marketplace. During this leading medical trade fair, our CEO, Wulf Glatz, CTO, Lukas Durrer, and VP Sales, Holger Hendrichs, will unveil our latest innovations in the fight against patient deterioration.

greenteg will present its core body temperature monitoring solution and showcase how this technology enables the early detection of patient deterioration and sepsis.

Learn more during our talk during the MEDICA Connected Healthcare Forum on Wednesday 20th November at 1:30 pm. You can also visit us at any time in our booth at the Wearables Technologies pavilion in Hall 13 / D46 to talk about the next generation of health wearables and the future of patient monitoring.

Why core body temperature monitoring is so important for the future of healthcare?

Core body temperature is a vital parameter for monitoring an individual’s health status and refers to the body’s organs’ temperature. It fluctuates following physiological processes, such as physical activity, circadian and ovulation rhythm, or various illnesses and sleeping disorders. Other technologies on the market intend to estimate core body temperature via skin surface temperature. However, due to the complexity of thermal regulation and the thermal influences from changing environmental conditions and physical activity, this estimate does not come close to greenteg’s core body temperature monitor accuracy and reliability.
