On the 7th of May the European Commission, as the institution managing the H2020 EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation, awarded greenTEG with a Seal of Excellence, acknowledging the high quality of the latest project proposed for funding within that framework. A great achievement, added to the previous Seal of Excellence, that highlights the great quality of the projects development in our company, both from the technical and business perspective.
greenTEG awarded again with the H2020 Seal of Excellence
About the Seal of Excellence
The Seal of Excellence is “a quality label awarded by the Commission to proposals which has been assessed in a call for proposals under a Union instrument and are deemed to comply with the quality requirements of that Union instrument but could not be funded due to budgetary constraints. These projects are judged to deserve funding and might receive support from other Union or national sources of funding.”
About the project
The project granted with the Seal of Excellence is called “gSKIN BT Circadian cycle tracking with heat flux sensor-based core body temperature sensors in wrist watches for the early detection of Alzheimer and other diseases”. Our purpose, together with our partners, is to develop a solution for early diagnose of the Alzheimer disease. We are doing that using our core body temperature sensors, embedded in wrist watches for continuous monitoring of the circadian cycle.
At greenTEG, we appreciate the new Seal of Excellence. This new award feels like a validation of our current project and encourages us to keep pushing forward the frontiers of wearables devices for medical purposes. We have been pursuing this line of research for more than a year, and we hope to deliver some results soon. Stay tuned!
