Smart measurement methodology – innovation that helps the patient

greenteg is a pioneer in the development of specific heat flux sensors for measuring core body temperature. This AI-based Swiss technology facilitates medicine and research worldwide by providing precise patient data, and has opened up new application areas in many other sectors.

The calera® sensor technology was developed in close collaboration with experts from science and medicine, and has been successfully tested in more than 10 clinical studies. The certified measuring technology achieves the highest accuracy values.

The core of the story

The human organism is a highly complex system, and the regulation of body temperature is dependent on countless different factors including ambient temperature, sleep patterns, physical activity and illness. This also means that by measuring body temperature we can gain an insight into our health.

In order to obtain the most precise measurements possible, we have to take temperatures inside the body – the core body temperature. Previously, measuring core body temperature was either uncomfortable (rectal thermometer) or only made possible by taking expensive electronic pills. calera® sensors are non-invasive, allowing for monitoring of core body temperature that is both simple and continuous.
